According to recent Census data, roughly 20 million adults in the United States identify their sexual and/or gender orientation as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.¹ Over the past decade, the US has experienced a significant increase in diverse populations, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals.
