Improving Periodontal Health
By Maria L. Geisinger, DDS, MS
Antimicrobial therapies play key roles in preventing and treating periodontal diseases. Hours of meticulous periodontal therapy alone cannot achieve the oral health goals we set for our patients. Self-care and the use of chemotherapeutics are critical components of maintenance therapy. The Colgate-Palmolive Company is delighted to have provided an unrestricted educational grant to support “Improving Periodontal Health” in collaboration with the American Academy of Periodontology.
