Healthcare systems are moving toward value-based healthcare models focused on patient-centered care and improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.1,2 The movement toward evaluating improved patient outcomes signifies that now, more than ever, dental hygienists play an important role in improving patients’ oral health outcomes.
